CASEY (Cork) - July 22, 2012 (unexpectedly) Páraic, Mariners View, Passage West, Cork, dearly loved husband of Riana Parsons; sadly missed by his loving wife, brother Brian, sisters Judy and Liz, nephews, nieces, parents-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters- in-law, relatives and friends. Reposing at his home from 5pm - 7pm, tomorrow (Friday). Requiem Mass at 11 am on Saturday in St. Columba's Church, Douglas, followed by cremation at the Island Crematorium, Ringaskiddy. No flowers please, donations if desired to St. Vincent de Paul, Galway, or Marymount Hospice Cork."Suaimhneas síoraí dá anam"

<p>RIP Paraic</p> <p>Having worked with Paraic in Dublin in the early 90s, I can recall what a gentleman he was. His innate charm and talent was readily apparent as was his kind nature and intelligence. We fell out of touch and it was only when I saw his picture on the Fota Wildlife web page I learnt of his untimely fate; such dreadful and shocking news for a young, fit man in his prime. I can only imagine the loss felt by his wife and family. My heart goes out to them all, what a sad time. A wonderful chap, it was my good fortune to know him.</p>

He was such a gentleman, had such a calming influence in a sometimes chaotic workplace, he had a great sense of humour and baked us some great treats. He made Fota a fun place to be.
