KELLY, Professor John Joseph (Chemical engineer and former Registrar of UCD, Donnybrook, Dublin and late of Newry, Co. Down). Died November 12, 2022, peacefully after a short illness at St. Vincent’s University Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Nora (née Doyle) and much loved father of James, Merlo, Michael, and Johnny. He will be greatly missed by his loving family, daughters-in-law Aoife, Ailbhe, and Jenny, son-in-law Steve, his adored grandchildren Méiní, Luke, Leo, Nino, Bretta, and Robin, his brother Kevin and sister Patricia, his late siblings Moyra, Ned, Jim, and Anne, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, and wide circle of friends. As per John’s wishes, his body has been donated to UCD School of Medicine. Mass of Remembrance at 10.00am, Saturday November 19, in Church of the Sacred Heart, Donnybrook. House private.
