SMYTH (Kevin) (Charleville View, Tullamore) (Died April 16, 2005) - On his First Anniversary, Kevin's parents Brian and Mary, his sisters Michelle, Lorraine and brother-in-law Ian would like to express our sincere gratitude to all those who provided such wonderful support and love following Kevin's sudden death. We wish to thank both our families, friends and neighbours, those who sent Mass and sympathy cards, floral tributes and letters of condolences. A big thank you to our friends, whose practical help and thoughtful consideration of what was needed, helped us through our dark time. Our thanks to all who called to the house, attended his funeral Mass in such large numbers and travelled long distances. A special thank you to all of Kevin's friends from Newbridge College, UCD and Tullamore and to the Shamrocks GAA Club for the Guard of Honour at Mucklagh Church. Thank you to Joe, Gordon and Darrell who prepared Kevin's grave. A word of thanks to Fr Ray Kelly, Fr Donal Meegan O.P. and Fr Grey who officiated at the funeral Mass and Fr Ray for his support and homily. Thank you to the Rahugh Choral group for their beautiful music and singing at the funeral mass. To our families and friends, especially Kevin's friends, for keeping in touch over the last year and sharing your memories of Kevin with us. It would be impossible for us to thank everyone individually. We hope that everyone will accept this notice as a sincere expression of our gratitude, a Mass will be offered for your intentions. Finally, to Kev, for your love, humour, life and vitality. You were a wonderful son and brother, kind, generous, affectionate and above all, so very brave in your struggle against depression. You are sorely missed and forever in our thoughts.
