CASEY, Amelia (née Kearns), (Rathgar/Terenure and formerly Ballaghaderreen, Co. Roscommon), passed away peacefully on April 25, 2023, in her 91st year. Beloved wife of the late Aidan and much loved mother of Geraldine, Amelia, Helen, Martha, Leo and Aidan. She will be greatly missed by her children; her sons-in-law Eiven, Tony, David, and Tim; daughters-in-law Marina and Kari; grandchildren Katie, Macdara, Emily, Michael, Hannah, Martha, Fiachra, Flora, Naomi, Petra, Kyla, Luca, Mia, Isabelle, Alexander and Leo; sister-in-law Bríd; nephews, nieces, extended family, friends and neighbours. Reposing at Fanagans Funeral Home, 54 Aungier St. tomorrow (Friday) from 2.30pm to 5.30pm. Removal on Saturday April 29. to the Church of the Three Patrons, Rathgar, arriving for 10.00am. Mass (which may be viewed on the following link; rathgarparish.ie/webcam/ and afterwards to Mount Jerome Crematorium (Victorian Chapel). Many thanks to Mount Hybla Nursing Home and all who cared so well for her in recent years. Family flowers only. . "And I shall have some peace there, for peace comes dropping slow"

Deeply missed by her children (Geraldine, Amelia, Helen, Martha, Leo, Aidan), grandchildren, extended family and friends. Her family would like to express their sincere gratitude to all who attended her Funeral Mass or watched online, and all who sent cards, messages of condolences and Mass donations. They would like to thank Father David Larkin and the choir at Rathgar Church, and Fanagans Funeral Directors for looking after the funeral arrangements. Her family are grateful to the wonderful home carers and the staff in Mount Hybla Nursing Home for their kindness and care. Mass has been offered for the intentions of all.
She is forever in our thoughts.
