HOOPER, - Peter John (Rye, New York, formerly Donnybrook and Killiney, Dublin) January 28, 1940 – July 13, 2022. Peter Hooper died peacefully at his home in Rye, N.Y. He is survived by his wife Jill; by his six children, Laurence Hooper of Sterling, Va., David Hooper of Rye, Stephen and John Hooper, both of Los Angeles, Calif., Andrea Hooper Robert of Port Chester, N.Y., and Olivia Curry of Harrison, N.Y.; by daughter-in-law Lisa Hooper; by sons-in-law Jackson Robert and Michael Curry; and by his 13 grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers Richard and Darrell, and by his sisters Jennifer Walsh, Jacqueline Howard, and Susan O’Connor. He was preceded in death by his sister Deirdre Leader. His funeral Mass was celebrated at Church of the Resurrection in Rye, followed by interment at Greenwood Union Cemetery in Rye.
