CANNEY, Mella (Clontarf, Retired National School Teacher) -May 9, 2021, peacefully in the wonderful care of St. Francis Hospice, Blanchardstown, beloved daughter of the late Patrick and Eleanor Canney, pre-deceased by her sister Maureen (Thunder) and her brother Michael Canney; deeply regretted by her sister and brother-in-law Nodlaig and Dick Nolan, by her nieces Eveann, Susan and Siobhán, by her nephew Patrick, Carmel and their family and by her dearest cousin and friend Mary Reaney. She will be greatly missed by her Canney and Reaney cousins and by her friends and neighbours. Mella was cared for lovingly and kindly by her friends and carers Carmen and Caroline, by Dr. Cormican and by Nurse Teresa in Vernon Avenue Clinic and by Fr. Martin Hogan who visited her faithfully over the years.
