O'MAHONY, Ita (née McCann) - December 20, 2020 (Dublin and Cork). Peacefully after a long and resilient battle with cancer, always borne with dignity and courage, in the wonderful care of Blackrock Clinic. Adored wife and best friend of John and much loved mother of Brian and Colm; sadly missed by her loving husband, sons, daughters-in-law Margaret and Katarina, granddaughter Ellie, grandsons Joshua, Cillian and Luke, her brother Diarmuid, sister Máire, sisters-in-law Pat and Bríd, brother-in-law Charlie, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Predeceased by her brother Enda and sister Deirdre. May She Rest in Peace. A private funeral will take place due to government advice regarding public gatherings. When current circumstances have passed we look forward to celebrating Ita’s life with a Requiem Mass in Cork for family, friends and extended family.
