SHINE - October 14, 2011 (Marian Crescent, Rathfarnham), Tom, (peacefully), after a short illness at Tallaght Hospital, husband and best friend of Jen (Jenny), and much loved dad of Neville and Greg; he will be sadly missed by his loving family, his wife and sons, daughters-in-law Denise and Edwina, his adored grandsons Mark and Danny, his brother Frankie, sisters Rosaleen, Ethna and Vera, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and neighbours. May he rest in peace. Removal from his residence this (Saturday) evening to Terenure College Chapel, arriving at 5 o'clock Funeral on Monday after 11 o'clock Mass to Mount Jerome Crematorium. Family flowers only, donations if desired to Our Lady's Hospice, Harolds Cross. All enquiries to Massey Bros., Templeogue 01 4907601.

SHINE Tom (Thomas) Rathfarnham - On this the First Anniversary of his passing on October 14, 2011. Brave, generous of spirit and a true friend, loved and missed every day by his wife Jennifer (Jenny), sons Neville and Greg, grandsons Mark, Danny and Charlie, daughters-in-law Denise and Edwina, his brother Frankie and sisters Rosaleen, Ethna and Vera. We would like to thank everyone who sympathised and attended the removal, funeral Mass and cremation. Thank you to those who sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, letters, flowers and donations to Our Lady's Hospice. We would also like to thank the doctors and nurses in Tallaght Hospital ICU for their care and kindness. Our heartfelt thanks to Fr Larnie Shine C.S.Sp., Fr Bruce Bradley S.J. and Fr Eoin Moore O.Carm. for concelebrating Tom's funeral Mass and making it a dignified celebration of his life. Finally thank you to all our friends and relatives who have supported and comforted us each in their own special way. No words can express how much this means to us. As a token of our appreciation the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for your intentions.
