BELL - David. As we remember our beloved Dad, David on the First Anniversary of his death on May 31, his children Paul, David and Cathy Anne, daughters-in-law Sally and Sarah, his beloved grandchildren Matthew, Daniel and Sarah Kate, David, Jessica, Emily and Juliet, also Thomas and Harriet Freeman together with Dad's extended family, including his God-daughter Raymonde Koonce, would like to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to so many people. We are eternally grateful to Sister Mary Bridget and all of the wonderful staff in the Holy Family Residence in Clonskeagh. Dad loved his time there and was so well cared for by all the staff. This care was extended to us during the special time we spent with Dad near the end. His leaving was so peaceful. Special thanks to Jody Fanagan and all the team in Fanagan's Funeral Directors who gave guidance and support and to John Dawson from SNAP Printing for the lovely Mass booklet. To Mr. Chris Kinder, Headmaster of St. Vincent's Castleknock College, our enormous gratitude to you and the staff for not only hosting Dad's Mass in the College Chapel, but for all the other magnificent gestures and touches, in particular the guard of honour by the current pupils as we arrived and departed. To our friends, classmates, members of Castleknock College PPU, members of Lansdowne FC, including President Colin Goode, and representatives of The Association of Referees (Leinster Branch) who joined in the guard of honour in Castleknock. To our neighbours, past and present, on Silver Birches who lined the road on Dad's final journey. To Father Pascal Scallon and Father Paul Lavelle, for the lovely Mass and celebration of Dad's long and happy life. It was very special to all of us and was all we could have hoped for. Also to the Organist Niall Barrett and Soloist Brian Gilligan for the beautiful music and singing. We also remember our amazing Mum, Anne, whose Twenty Ninth Anniversary occurred on May 9. A final thank you to those who attended the funeral Mass, watched it outside the Church or on line, those who sent cards, letters, texts, emails, postings on RIP.ie and who continue to remember Dad and support us over the past year. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere appreciation and gratitude.
