KEOGH, Dermot (Glasheen Road, Cork and Dublin; Professor Emeritus (History), UCC): On September 6, 2023, peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband to Ann, cherished father to Eoin, Niall, Aoife and Clare, father-in-law to Caroline, Liz, Marco and Barry and adored grandfather of Abi, Luke, David, Aisling, Darragh, Clodagh, Anna Amy, Emanuele and Olan. Dermot will be sadly missed by his heartbroken family, brothers and sisters, dear and loyal friends and neighbours. May his gentle soul Rest In Peace. Reposing at Sullivans Funeral Home, Turners Cross, Cork (T12 DV27) tomorrow (Friday) from 3pm to 4pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday at 10am in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, The Lough, Cork (T12 KT3K) followed by burial in St. Oliver’s Cemetery, Model Farm Road, Cork (T12 YF21). Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu to Cork ARC Cancer Support House and Marymount Hospice. House private please.
