PHELAN (née Burke) Berna (Kilmacud and late of Blackrock) - January 23, 2017, (peacefully), in the excellent care of St. Vincent's Private Hospital, loving wife of John and amazing mum to Suzanne and Paul; sadly missed by her family, daughter-in-law Caroline, Suzanne's partner Nick, grandchildren Luke and Miles, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends. Rest in Peace. Reposing at her home tomorrow (Thursday) from 5-7pm. Funeral Service on Friday at 2pm in the Victorian Chapel at Mount Jerome, followed by cremation. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to the Irish Heart Foundation (www.irishheart.ie).

John, I had no idea about Berna's passing. I am heartsick. My deepest sympathies to you, Paul and Suzanne. I have many good memories of conversation​s we shared about our mutual love for our Aunt Mary.
