WARD, Rev. Fr. Eugene O.Carm, who died July 26, 2011. On this Eugene's first anniversary we the Ward family would like to offer our sincere thanks to all those who sympathised with us on the sad occasion of his passing. We wish to thank most sincerely the Carmelite Fraternity who attended his Mass, particularly Fr. Killmurry Provincial and Fr. Staunton. Thanks also for the wonderful reception by the Carmelites after the interment. Many thanks to all those who cared for him in Gort Muire, particularly the nursing staff including Mairead who was so kind to him. Thank you to all those who attended his funeral, old school pals, relatives from Donegal, Sligo and elsewhere, and also the members of Moate Football Club. We thank the people of Moate whom he loved very much.
