KEELAN - Genevieve (Gene) (née O’Hanlon), (Cathedral Road, Latlurcan, Monaghan and formerly of Glaslough) March 23, 2021 peacefully in Drumbear Lodge Nursing Home, Monaghan Town. Predeceased by her husband Kevin and son Dermot, brother Frank and sister Maura, she is survived and greatly missed by her sons Caoimhghín, Breandán and Fiontán (Ó Caoláin), daughters-in-law Briege, Trish and Giuli, grandchildren Aisling, Sinéad, Clíodhna, Deirbhile, Órán, Tiarnán and Ríoghán and great granddaughter Ailbhe, by her sister Sally and by her brothers Pat and Seamus and by nephews, nieces and cousins and extended family and friends. Gene’s removal from her son Caoimhghín’s home will take place tomorrow (Thursday) morning at 10.15am for 11.00am Requiem Mass in St. Macartan’s Cathedral, driving through Monaghan Town en route. Neighbours and friends can wish Gene farewell as her remains pass by. Burial will take place in the family plot in Latlurcan Cemetery.
