TUOHY - Father Tom S.M (late of Athy) died on July 10, 2021. Eileen together with the extended family wish to sincerely thank all who sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, letters, texts, phone calls also the large number of kind messages of condolence online, to many of which we are unable to send a reply. We thank Father John O’Gara and the priests who led the prayers at the removal. Thanks to Father Declan Marmion and the priests who concelebrated the Funeral Mass and to the priests who attended the Mass. A special word of thanks to Father Seamus Madigan, Head Chaplain who represented the Defence Forces. A source of consolation for us were the beautiful and moving prayers recited by Father John Hannon at the graveside in Glasnevin. Our deep gratitude to Father Edwin McCallion together with the Marists and staff of Mount St. Mary’s, Milltown where Tom resided following his retirement. Sincere thanks to the staff of Cherryfield Lodge Nursing Home, Milltown Park for the kindness and loving care they gave Tom during his final 2 years. As it is not possible to contact everybody individually, please accept this message as an expression of our profound gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for your intentions.
