O'DUFFY, Veronica

O'DUFFY Veronica Collette (née Staveley), the widow of Michael O'Duffy, the Irish Tenor. The last of Staveley's family dynasty and born above Staveley Stores in Parnell Street, August 25, 1922, Veronica, died (peacefully), in Hertfordshire, England, February 9, 2015, aged 92 years. She is sadly missed by her sons and families of Alan, Cormac, Rowan, and Paul, her eleven grand- children, one great-granddaughter and her extensive family in Ireland. The Funeral will take place in Our Lady's Church Potters Bar Hertfordshire on Friday February 20 at 10 am. There is also a Memorial Service on Saturday February 21 at 10 am in St. John the Baptist, Clontarf, Dublin after which we will bring her ashes to Glasnevin followed by refreshments locally.
