MEAGHER Bill, (Foxrock, Dublin) (ex Burmah Castrol) - October 23, 2014, (peacefully) after bravely fighting a long illness. Beloved husband and best friend of Patricia, and adored Dad to Sonja, Billy, Anna, Rachel and Sarah. Will be deeply missed by his family, brother Kevin and sister Cliodhna, sons and daughter- in-law, grandchildren and a wide circle of friends. Reposing at his home in Foxrock, Monday evening from 5.00pm to 8.00pm. A funeral Mass will take place in Our Lady of Perpetual Succour, Foxrock, at 11.00am on Tuesday, October 28 and then onto his final resting place in Shanganagh Cemetery. No flowers please, donations, if desired, to the Irish Heart Foundation."The song is ended,

On the occasion of Bill's First Anniversary, Pat, Sonja, Billy, Anna, Rachel and Sarah wish to express their heartfelt thanks to our families, friends and all those who supported and sympathised with us during the past year. Thank you to everyone who supported and visited Bill during his long illness, especially his friend and Doctor Conor O'Toole and Father's Frank and Ciaran. Thanks also to all of you who took the time and care to call or write cards and letters, they meant so much to us and helped hugely during those first difficult weeks. Thanks to everyone who attended the funeral and called to the house. A special thanks to Father Frank for the lovely service and support, also Father Nash and Father Tom for helping out and being there. A special thanks also to Bill's former colleagues in Burmah Castrol and friends in Foxrock Golf Club. It would be impossible to thank everyone individually, as we would like, so please accept this as an expression of our deep appreciation and gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for your intentions.We think of you every day,
God has you in his arms and
