OVEREND - Derek Acheson, May 10th 2016, peacefully, in his 97th year; devoted husband of the late Lorna, adored father of Alison, Juliet, Joyce and Kate. Wonderful grandfather to Andrew, David, Neville, Emily, Juliet, Guy and Jessie, special great-grandfather to Cian, Caoilinn, Oscar, Lachlan, Aoife, Sean and Grace. Will be greatly missed by his daughters, sons-in-law Ken, Mick, Tim and Graham and the wider family circle. A special thanks to all the staff at Cairnhill, Foxrock for the wonderful care. Funeral arrangements later.

Service of Thanksgiving will take place tomorrow (Friday) at 12 noon in St. Andrew's Church, Mount Merrion Avenue, Blackrock. Family flowers only.
