HICKEY, (Portmarnock, Co. Dublin) Catherine (Kay), March 19, 2021 (suddenly, but peacefully) at home. Beloved wife of the late Robin and loving mother of Fiona, Rodhán and Áillinn. Kay will be deeply missed by her loving family, her daughter-in-law Jenny, son-in-law Shane, grandchildren Jamie, Lauren, Eve, Noah, Zach, Anna and Meg, friends, neighbours and Puss the cat. May she Rest in Peace. A private family funeral will take place, due to Government advice regarding public gatherings. Those who would have liked to attend the funeral, but owing to current restrictions, cannot, may send a message of condolence to Kirwans Funeral Directors, 21/23 Fairview Strand, Dublin 3, or info@kirwans.ie. Happy to be on her travels with Robin again.

Kay was a kind and funny lady.I was privileged to be in a writing group with her, where she would delight us with her writing talent. Deepest sympathies to her family. Louisa Houghton.
