McCORMICK, Peter Edward (formerly of Malone Park, in Belfast and Shore Road in Rostrevor ) Passed away peacefully on July 4, 2021 aged 84 years after a good life well lived, surrounded by his closest family. Dearly beloved husband of the late Anne (nee Treanor), Devoted Dad to Barbara and Conor and loving Papa to Pearce, Ethan and Dean. Dear brother to William, Patricia, Marguerite, the late Tim and Rosemarie. Peter will be reposing in his home at the Shore Road, Rostrevor today (Tuesday). Requiem Mass will take place at 1.00pm tomorrow (Wednesday) at St Mary’s Star of the Sea, Church Street, Rostrevor followed by burial in St Mary’s cemetery, Barr, Newry. In accordance with current government guidelines house and funeral for close family and friends only. Peter was loved and will be greatly missed by Barbara, Conor and Ingrid, his much loved grandchildren, Susan, his inlaws, the McCormick clan, the Treanor clan, his nieces, nephews and extended family as well as his vast circle of wonderful friends and colleagues in Belfast and Dublin, especially those from Blackrock College, Dublin, the Rotary Club, St Vincent de Paul and Malone Golf Club in Belfast. May his gentle soul now Rest in Peace.
