McSPARRAN - (Cushendall), October 6, 2024, Doctor Alastair John McDonnell, Coiscib, Cushendall, Co. Antrim. Alastair beloved husband of Christine (née Wheeler), the “love of his life” and a proud Glensman. He will be sadly missed by his sisters Anne, Elizabeth, Brid, Margaret Rose, Paddy, extended family and many great friends. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.

Alastair will be in repose on today (Tuesday) from 1pm until 9pm at Coiscib, 34 Glenville Road, Cushendall, Co. Antrim, BT44 0PB. Family only from 9pm each evening. The Funeral Mass will take place at 11am on tomorrow (Wednesday) in St Mary’s Church, 29 Chapel Road, Cushendall, County Antrim, BT44 0RS and can be viewed on the St Mary's Church Cushendall webcam. Burial will take place in the adjoining Cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu to Friends of the Cancer Centre, Belfast.
