WOODS, Dr. Desmond (Skerries) - February 15, 2016, in the gentle care of Dr. Val and the team at St. Francis Hospice, Raheny, and formerly in the kind and compassionate care of Prof. Fennelly and staff at the Cara Ward, St. Vincent's Private Hospital; cherished husband of Kathleen and much loved father of Emily and Brian. Des will be sadly missed by his loving family, his brothers Pat, Peter and David, sisters-in-law Sandra and Dara, brothers-in-law Con, Paddy and Mario, uncle Jim, niece Katie, secretary Brenda, his devoted colleagues, loyal patients, extended family and his many friends and neighbours. Rest in Peace. Removal tomorrow (Wednesday) morning to St. Patrick's Church, Skerries arriving at 9.50 o'clock for 10 o'clock Requiem Mass. Funeral thereafter to Glasnevin Crematorium. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to St. Francis Hospice, Raheny or HHT Ireland (www.hhtireland.com).
