O'CONNOR, Christy Jnr. (Derrycastle House, Ballina, Co. Tipperary and formerly Knocknacarra, Salthill, Galway) - January 6, 2016 (suddenly and unexpectedly), wonderful husband to Ann, much loved Dad to Ann, Nigel and the late Darren and adored Papa to Ava, Zara and Leda; Christy will be sadly missed by his wife, daughter and son, brothers, sister, sisters-in-law, son-in-law Mark, his beloved uncle Christy Snr., nieces, nephews, grandchildren, extended family, many friends and esteemed colleagues. Reposing at St. Anthony's Room within the Church of St. John the Apostle, Knocknacarra, Galway today (Monday) from 2.00 o'c with Removal at 6.00 o'c to Galway Cathedral. Funeral after 12 noon Requiem Mass at Galway Cathedral tomorrow (Tuesday) to Rahoon cemetery. Family flowers only. To our families, dear friends, neighbours and clergy. To those who conveyed messages of sympathy, sent Mass cards and gave their time to be with us and those who attended his removal and funeral.
