CAFFREY - The death has occurred of Oliver James Caffrey, Eze Bord de Mer, France, formerly of Furness Hall, Naas, Co Kildare. Born at the Curragh July 12, 1944, Oliver is survived by his beloved wife Yona and his children Aaron, Daniel, James, Edward and Antonia. Deeply regretted by his family, including his sisters Betty and Helen and his brother Eamon. Joining his much missed sisters Carmel and Anna-May. Funeral Service at Eglise du Sacré-Coeur, Beaulieu sur Mer, France at 10.30am March 3, 2023. All welcome.

I am so sorry to hear this, and sorry not to have heard earlier. Oliver was a very generous man and a great admirer of the arts. He left us too soon.

The world will not be the same…a bright light has just gone out. What a super star Oliver was. He will be dearly missed by me and by many.
