POMEROY, Evelyn (née Sullivan) Bawnard, Midleton, Co Cork - October 27, 2012 peacefully in the very kind care of the staff of Beechfield Manor Nursing Home, Shankill, Co Dublin. Beloved wife of the late Jim and dear sister of the late Robert, loving mother of Karen, Jean, Andrew, Anne, Aoife and Jacqui. Sadly missed by her family, grandchildren, sister Sally, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Reposing at home at Bawnard, Midleton with prayers at 7pm this evening. Funeral service tomorrow, Tuesday at 2.00pm, in St. John the Baptist Church, Midleton. Burial immediately afterwards in the churchyard. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to Mercy University Hospital Foundation.At rest.
POMEROY Evelyn (First Anniversary) - Evelyn's family would like to thank most sincerely all who sympathised with us on our sad loss. Thanks to all who called to our home, attended the funeral service, travelled long distances, sent mass and sympathy cards, and those who made donations to the Mercy Foundation. Our thanks to Mary Clear and her staff at Beechfield Nursing Home, Shankill, Co. Dublin who cared for Evelyn with such kindness and dignity during her final few weeks. Thanks also to Dr Michael Madden, his secretary Bea, and his team in the Mercy University Hospital and to Dr Liam Motherway and his staff, Midleton for looking after Evelyn so well in Cork. A special thanks to Dean Alan Marley and Anthony at Hyde's Funeral Home for their wonderful support, advice, and lovely funeral service. Finally to our relatives, neighbours and friends, your continued kindness and support is greatly appreciated. Please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere gratitude.
