<p>WHITE Professor James Henry MD, FRCS, FACS (Basking Ridge, NJ, USA and late of Coleraine) - December 6, 2017, beloved husband of Alison, loving and devoted father to Errol, Nicole and Stuart, father-in-law to Melanie and Elizabeth, proud grandfather of his four grandchildren Lauren, Carl, Katie and Nathan. Dr. White emigrated from Ireland to the US in 1968 and as an Ophthalmologist specializing in Corneal and Oculo Plastic surgery, and the Medical Director of The Eye Bank of New Jersey, set up private practice in Basking Ridge, NJ for over 40 years. As a researcher at UMDNJ, Dr. White made significant medical contributions, and pioneered innovative surgical techniques. He never sought the limelight and in a quiet unassuming way he extended a helping hand to those in need. The extent of his generosity was known only to those who benefited by it. A Memorial Service was held in Nokomis, Florida and he has been laid to rest in Basking Ridge, New Jersey.
