LAING, Stanley, January 2, 2018, (Templeogue, Dublin 6W, late of Ballyconnell, Cavan and former Chairman of Dublin County Council), (peacefully) in the loving care of the wonderful staff of Mount Tabor Nursing Home, Sandymount. Much loved husband of the late Mildred, and father of Victor, Gordon and Andrew. Forever loved and sadly missed by his sons, daughters-in-law Colette, Edel and Yvonne, grandchildren Emma, Phoebe, Annie, Sam, Ryan, Keysha, Kyle and Ethan. Dad had strength and dignity and was the definition of a gentleman. It is his utter decency that will endure. In repose at Massey Bros. Funeral Home, Templeogue Village tomorrow (Friday), January 5 from 3 pm to 7 pm. Funeral Service in Christ Church Rathgar on Saturday, January 6 at 11.30 am followed by Cremation in Mount Jerome Crematorium at 1.30 pm. Family flowers only please. Remembering the First Anniversary of the passing of Stanley, loving and devoted husband to Mildred, wonderful and caring father to Victor, Gordon and Andrew and adoring grandfather and father-in-law. We miss you and we think of you each and every day. Finally reunited with Mum, the love of his life. Our sincere thanks to all who called to pay their respects, attended the funeral service and remembered us since Stanley passed away. We really appreciate all your care and thoughts.At rest in the Lord.
