MURPHY - Dr. Sean (Rathmines, Dublin 6 and formerly of Cork and Boston, Massachusetts) (February 3, 2020).
On the First Anniversary of Sean’s death, he is lovingly remembered. Gillian, Adrienne, Geraldine, Conor and his daughter-in-law Deirdre Doyle, his sister Carmel and brother-in-law Kevin Desmond and their family, his grandchildren Fiach, Caoimh, James, Gavin and Rachel wish to acknowledge with great gratitude all the love and kind sympathy we received at that time. We were overwhelmed by the many calls, cards, Mass cards and letters, often recalling amusing memories of Sean’s life and times. These were of great interest and comfort to us. Many, many thanks to our relatives, friends and neighbours, some of whom travelled a long distance to our home for a final farewell. Thanks also to all those who attended Sean’s funeral in beautiful Milltown Parish Church of St Columbanus and St Gall. Sincere thanks to Fr. Peter Brisco for his thoughtful and generous Mass and to Simon Morgan whose lovely music contributed to making the ceremony a celebration of Sean’s life. Fanagan’s Funeral Directors were as professional and kind as ever. We are especially grateful for the wonderful care given to Sean by Drs Osama Salib, Maeve O’Reilly, and Joseph Martin over several months. Sean spent his last few days in the exceptional nursing care of the staff of St Mary’s Hospice in Harold’s Cross. He received such gentle attention there, never to be forgotten. Many supported the hospice with kind donations, for which we are most grateful. We never imagined at that time that within a few short weeks our lives would be overtaken by a devastating pandemic. We hope that all our family and friends remain well until we can welcome a new beginning in 2021.
MURPHY - Sean F. (Third Anniversary, February 3, 2020) - Our bright loving memories of Sean will remain with us forever. Gillian, Adrienne, Geraldine and Conor, his grandchildren and his extended family.
