O'BRIEN, Maureen (née Meade) (Eastbury, The Narroways, Bettystown, Co. Meath, formerly of Ballymaclode Castle, Waterford), former Lady Captain Laytown and Bettystown Golf Club; Maureen will be very sadly missed by her loving husband Bill, sons David and Barry, brother John, sister Patricia (Patsy), sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and many friends. May she Rest in Peace. Reposing at her home today (Thursday) from 5pm until 8pm. Removal tomorrow (Friday) evening to the Church of the Sacred Heart, Laytown arriving at 7pm. Funeral on Saturday after Requiem Mass at 11am to Reilig Mhuire, Piltown.
O'BRIEN - Maureen (née Higgins) (Rose Terrace, Monasterevin, Kildare, Formerly of Ballygreany, Co. Kildare) Predeceased by her husband Con, her daughter Ane O’Toole (Colbinstown), and her parents Peter and Theresa. Maureen will be sadly missed by her sons Paschal, Neil and David, her daughter-in-law Sandra, Julie Brindley, son-in-law Richard O'Toole, grandchildren Robert, Ross, Jamie, Lexie, Slaney, Amy, Andrew and Evan, her great-grandchildren Dino and Ane Lou, her late sisters Una Leech and Angela McCabe, her nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives and friends. A special thanks to her carers, Pauline O’Connell and Theresa O’Reilly. Reposing at her home in Rose Terrace, Monasterevin, today (Saturday) from 5.00pm with Rosary at 8.00pm. Requiem Mass tomorrow (Sunday) at 11.30am in St. Peter & Paul's Church, Monasterevin, with interment afterwards in St. Brigid's Cemetery, Nurney. House private on Sunday morning. Mass will be streamed on www.monasterevinparish.ie Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to the Irish Cancer Society or the KWWSPCA.
