Just to add to my entry yesterday--Leslie's Headstone in Brunei has, as far as I remember, the rather poignant inscription 'He loved SOAS College/SOAS College loved him'. Declan d'R

Dear Tim, very nice to see this notice. Was just thinking about Leslie last Sunday, which would have been his 75th birthday, if I remember correctly. Fondly remembered, as are your parents, for all the fun we had as youngsters. Yours, Colin
