Heart of gold.
COMAN - Geoff. On the sad occasion of the first anniversary of Geoff’s death, July 19, 2023. Forever loved and always missed by his wife Claire, children Niall, Conor and Nessa, Niall’s partner Candela, grandchildren Tadhg Antonio and Carlota. Also, his brothers and sisters, in-laws, nieces and nephews, his extended family and friends who are too many to name. He brightened the lives of so many. We offer our heartfelt appreciation to our family and the friends, neighbours and Geoff’s colleagues who provided emotional and practical support to us during such a difficult time and who helped in any way to make our loss more bearable. We remember the gestures of sympathy and kindness from so many over the past year; those who attended our home, the reposal and Mass, some travelling long distances to do so. Also, those who sent such thoughtful letters, Mass cards, texts, emails and wrote wonderful tributes on RIP.ie. It has been a comfort to know that Geoff’s generosity, his smile, friendliness, warmth and great sense of humour left such a lasting impression on those who knew him. He will always be remembered as a gentleman, who lived life to the full.
We are eternally grateful to the care teams at the Blackrock Clinic, Mater ICCU and Our Lady’s Hospice, Harold’s Cross. A sincere thank you to Fr Ciaran O’Carroll at the Church of the Sacred Heart, Donnybrook, the exceptional singers and musicians and Gerard Cullen at Fanagan’s whose contributions made Geoff’s Funeral Mass so special. Thanks also to those who donated to and fundraised for Our Lady’s Hospice. It is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our deepest appreciation and gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
A life well lived. Loved always. Forever missed.
