OWENS, Elizabeth (Elsie)

OWENS - Elizabeth (Elsie), (19 French Court, Strokestown, Co. Roscommon). Peacefully, in the tender care of the nurses and staff of Roscommon Hospice. In her 97th year. Deeply regretted by her loving sisters Rosalie, Helene (Scott) and Louise (Curley). Elsie will be sadly missed by her sisters, nephews Gerard and Michael Curley and David Scott, her nieces Edel Neary and Antoinette Whitty, grand nephews, grandnieces and cousins. Elsie will also be sadly missed by her wonderful neighbours and large circle of life long friends. Elsie is predeceased by her parents Charles and Lena, her sister Marion and by her brothers Michael and James. Reposing at McHugh's Funeral Home, Strokestown (F42 RK72), on tomorrow (Sunday), March 1, from 4.30pm until 6pm, followed by Removal to The Church of the Immaculate Conception, Strokestown. Funeral Mass on Monday, March 2, at 11am. Burial afterwards in Strokestown cemetery. Elsie's Funeral Mass may be viewed online by following the link on the RIP notice. Family flowers only please.
