YATES - John, Canal Road, Galway City and formerly Enniskillen and Belfast. John died peacefully on Saturday October 5, 2025, in the wonderful care of the staff at St. Enda's Ward, G.U.H. Beloved husband of Mary and much loved father of Alison and Killian. He will be deeply missed by his wife and daughters, sister Valerie and by all his extended family in Ireland, France and the U.K. Reposing at the O' Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue, Galway (H91 V1K8) today (Tuesday) from 5.00 p.m. to 6.30 p.m. A Funeral Service will take place at St. Nicholas' Collegiate Church, Lombard Street, Galway, tomorrow (Wednesday) on arrival at 1.00 p.m. Following the Service he will be laid to rest in Bohermore cemetery.
