BRENNAN, Joe (Carlow) formerly of Salthill, Galway. Born January 6, 1933, died peacefully at home, Strawhall, Carlow, June 18, 2013. Dearly loved husband, father and grandfather, he will be sadly missed by Deirdre, children Niamh, Róisin, Feargal, Conal and Clodagh, grandchildren Liadan, Éile, Síofra, Aoife, Doireann, Cian, Oscar and Sadhbh, daughters-in-law Olive and Niamh, sons-in-law Gerry and Peter, his sister Ethel, nieces, nephews, neighbours and friends. House open tomorrow (Thursday) from 4 pm to 8 pm. Funeral Service at the Cathedral of the Assumption, Carlow on Friday at 11.00 am followed by private cremation. Family flowers only. Donations if desired to Carlow/Kilkenny Homecare.Ní bheidh a leithéid arís ann.
BRENNAN Joe, (Carlow and Galway), died June 18, 2013 - On this his First Anniversary, Deirdre, together with Niamh, Róisín, Feargal, Conal, Clodagh and their families wish to express sincere thanks to our extended family, our neighbours and friends for their kindness to us during Joe's illness and death. We thank all who attended his wake and funeral, sent letters, cards of sympathy, Mass cards and also his friends in Carlow Lions Club for the fine guard of honour. A big thank you to the Carlow Kilkenny Home Care team whose support helped us to keep Joe at home till the end. Please accept this notice as an acknowledgement to all of our deepest gratitude for a support which will never be forgotten.
