DOWNEY (Douglas, Cork) - August 31, 2012, peacefully, surrounded by her loving family at Cork University Hospital. Celine (née Fleming), beloved wife of the late Kevin and dearly loved mother of Jean, Cathérine (Murphy), Mary (Stacey), Aidan and Enda. Sadly missed by her loving family, sister Beta, sons-in-law John and Michael, daughter-in-law Carol, her adored grandchildren and great-grandchildren, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Lying in repose at The Temple Hill Funeral Home, Boreenmanna Road of Jerh O'Connor Ltd. Rosary at 6.00pm tomorrow Sunday. Removal at 7.00pm on Monday to Church of The Incarnation, Frankfield. Requiem Mass at 12 noon on Tuesday. Funeral afterwards to St Michael's Cemetery Blackrock. "May she rest in peace"
DOWNEY Celine (Douglas, Cork) - (August 31, 2012) On this, her First Anniversary, we remember Celine, our dearly loved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. We wish to thank sincerely all who sympathised with us, who supported us in our sad loss and who attended the Rosary, removal, funeral Mass and burial. We extend our sincere appreciation to neighbours, relatives, friends, colleagues, health professionals and clergy for their help, comfort and kindness. Our deep thanks to all who contributed to the Mass. We very much appreciated the Mass cards, floral tributes, letters of sympathy and support.
