CURRAN -

Philip (James), (Bishopstown, Cork, formerly of Clones, Co. Monaghan, retired Ulster Bank Manager, South Mall, Cork), peacefully, surrounded by his family, on October 5, 2025.

Deeply mourned and lovingly remembered by his devoted wife Veron (née OConnell), his children Barry, Mark, Ruth (Hurley), John, Susan and Debbie (Emery), his beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren, his brothers and sisters Marie, Eileen, Brian, Dympna, Kevin and Eithne.

Predeceased by his infant daughter Mary and by his brothers Gerry and Joe.

He will be hugely missed by his heartbroken wife, children, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, his siblings and in-laws, many nieces and nephews, his grandchildren Clodagh, Oisín, Jahn, Zoe, Ben, Levi, Isabelle, Andrew, Isaac, Abigail, Luke and Seán, his great-grandchildren Evelyn and Eli and his many many friends and family both in Ireland and abroad.

Reposing at the Wilton Funeral Home, Sarsfield Road of Jerh. OConnor Ltd; on tomorrow (Wednesday), October 8, from 5.00pm to 6.00pm.

Requiem Mass at 11.00am on Thursday (October 9), in the Church of the Real Presence, Curraheen Road.

Funeral afterwards to St. James Cemetery, Chetwynd.

Family flowers only, please. Donations in lieu to St Vincent de Paul, with whom Philip volunteered for many years.

The family would appreciate that the house be private at this time.
