Mgr Michael PE, (Waterford City), August 30, 2021, peacefully, in the tender and loving care of the nursing staff at St. Vincents Ward at Dungarvan Community Hospital, former Parish Priest of Tramore, St. Peter and Pauls Clonmel, Kilsheelan/Kilcash and President of Maynooth College. Deeply regretted by his loving nephews John (San Francisco), Brian (Washington) and Conor (Dublin), niece Jane (Dublin), grand-nephews, grand-nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends, Bishop Alphonsus Cullinan DD, Bishop Emeritus William Lee DD, Priests, religious and parishioners of the Diocese of Waterford and Lismore. Rt. Rev. Mgr Michael’s Funeral will take place privately. Funeral Mass will be live streamed on Friday, September 3, 2021 at 12.00 noon in Mount Melleray Abbey Church through the following link; www.aidanwalshandsons.ie/live-stream. Due to Government and H.S.E. advice and guidelines regarding public gatherings a Private Funeral Mass (limited to 50 people) will take place. May he Rest in Peace.
