BAIRD, Josephine Jane (Vaun). A public memorial service for Josephine Jane (Vaun) Baird (née Burdon), originally of The Laurels, Buttevant, Co. Cork, will be held at 2pm on August 8th at St. Mary's Church in Buttevant, Co. Cork, followed by the burial of her ashes in the cemetery there. Vaun was born in Buttevant on February 25th 1916, and died in Ottawa, Canada in December 2002. She is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Jane de Bruijn, her son David John, her grandson Simon David de Bruijn, Simon's wife Yamuna and their daughter Arana. All who would like to attend will be very welcome.
