COURTNEY, James (Shay), (Kilmashogue) - March 29, 2012. Beloved husband of Mary and adored father of Eilish, Maryanne, Eileen, Maureen, John and Cathy. Will be deeply missed by his grandchildren Christopher and Éabha and his extended family Ciarán, Philip, Esther, Joseph and Molly and a wide circle of friends. Funeral Service (Monday) at 11 o'c in The Church of Our Lady of Good Counsel, Whitechurch, Ballyboden followed by burial in Kilmashogue Cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations, in lieu to the Asthma Society and the Diabetic Society.

<p>THE BOOK MAN</p> <p>I worked in Rathfarnham S.C. for 17 years untill Jan of this year and I had great discussions with Shay on many topics, he loved books and was a terrific reader and never short of advice on what to read next... he was very proud of his family and I'm sure he will be greatly missed.</p> <p>I was so sad to hear of his sudden death and thinking of you all at this sad time.</p> <p>Lee Flynn</p>
