MURPHY - Myles, aged eighty-four years died peacefully in America in The Indianapolis Rehabilitation Hospital at 1am on October 18, 2021 with loving family members by his bedside. Myles lived his childhood years at 224 Clonliffe Road, Dublin 3 and prior to emigrating to the US in 1987, lived with his family in Rathfarnham (Marley Grange). He is a past pupil of Belvedere College, SJ, and went on to study structural engineering at Brixton College, London. Myles is survived by his grieving family - wife Mairead Murphy, children Catherine Doyle, Therese (husband, David) Langfitt, Myles (wife, Breanna) Murphy, Sean Murphy, grandchildren Ciaran Doyle, Roisin Longfellow, Niamh and Sophie Langfitt, Myles and Clare Murphy, sisters Cora Palombella and Eileen Goodwin. He was preceded in death by his sister Rita Baskett and brothers Seamus and Denny Murphy. Please visit flannerbuchanan.com to sign the online register book.

Myles was a lovely man; I remember his playing Rugby on the Belvedere College SCT in 1955; and also his stalwart performances in the College Gilbert and Sullivan operas; may he rest in perfect peace. Gerry Owens
