MELIA, (nee Clarke) (“Innisfáil” Blackrock Co Louth) - In her 90th year. Peacefully in Our Lady of Lourdes hospital, 19th December 2020. Beloved wife of the late Frank. Pre-deceased by daughters Barbara, Jill and granddaughter Jill. Dear mother of Audrey (Kasselis), Maureen (Sheridan), Oonagh (Quinn), Pauline (O’Connell), Denis and Siobhán (McCarthy): sons-in-law Serge, Hugh, Edmund, Conor and Denis’ partner Anne. Granny will be sadly missed by her adoring grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. Also by her nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. May She Rest In Peace. Due to Covid restrictions the Family home is private. Due to Government guidelines Mary’s Funeral will take place privately today (Tuesday) at 3pm in St Fursey’s Church, Haggardstown followed by burial afterwards in adjoining Cemetery. The Mass and can be viewed on www.churchservices.tv/Haggardstown There will be an opportunity for the community to pay their respects as Mary’s cortège will pass the family home and walk down the Village, on the way to the church.
