DOYLE, Mary (née Shortall, died March 29, 2011) - Today, September 1st., is the fortieth anniversary of our Wedding, which we are proud to celebrate and recall the delightful memories of living with Mary. Milo and family wish to thank most sincerely all of you who gave of your time to express your sympathy and support at the time of - and since - our devastating bereavement. The many Mass Cards, sympathy cards, phone calls, letters and other forms of expression, in addition to the great numbers who attended the house and Church Services, were very comforting at a time when we were still shocked at the speed and tragedy of her passing. This includes our wonderful neighbours and friends, former colleagues, family and extended family, and especially the D-Doc service, the Ambulance crew, the doctors, nurses and staff of Beaumont Hospital for their professional, gentle care, and Fr Paul Thornton of Malahide parish who honoured us with such a beautiful set of ceremonies delivered with Christian love and human kindness. May your God bless you all. Alas that Spring should vanish
with the Rose,
And Youth's sweet-scented
Manuscript should close.
The Nightingale that in the Branches sang,
Ah whence, and whither flown
again, who knows!
