McATAMNEY - Brendan (Hazelhatch Celbridge Kildare December 21, 2024)
As we treasure the memory of Brendan on his First Anniversary, his wife Caroline, children Eoin, Aoife, Éanna, Aisling, grandchildren Cora, Leo, Amaya, sons-in-law Maxim, Jose, mother Kathleen, brothers Martin and Kieran, sister Anne and extended families, wish to acknowledge the many expressions of love, kindness and support shown to us by family, friends and neighbours during Brendans illness and most particularly during our sad bereavement.
Sincere thanks to those who expressed condolences, wrote letters, cards, messages and called to the house. Heartfelt thanks to those who attended Brendans Removal and Requiem Mass in such numbers to celebrate his glorious life, especially those who travelled long distances and dear absent friends who watched from abroad on camera.
Enduring thanks to the Liver Transplant Unit in SVUH, Dublin, especially to Prof. Tom Gallagher, Dr. Omar El Sherif and angel Aoife Coffey. Thanks to Dr. Ray McDermott and his excellent Oncology team and to the exceptional care and compassion extended to Brendan by the staff and Palliative Care team who ensured his comfort and dignity. Our friends are our needs answered. Brendan has many dear friends and colleagues at home and abroad. Thank you for sharing the memories of the competitive rascal with us and for your continued support in keeping his joyous, playful spirit alive. Brendan leaves a legacy of professional excellence of beauty and love. We are most proud of his co-founding of the Charity, Liver Ireland Support Network (LISN), launched in April 2024. Thank you for all your support to LISN and its hard working team. Please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere gratitude and appreciation.
