FLITTON, Norman (Leopardstown, Dublin 18 and formerly Kegworth, Nottinghamshire, UK) – March 30, 2020 (peacefully) at St. Vincent’s Hospital Elm Park. Beloved husband of Sheila and much loved father to David, Breda, Stephen and Aisling; he will be very sadly missed by his loving family, grandchildren John (Mullins), Richard (Mullins), Elise (Mullins), Jamie and Kai (Chambers), great granddaughter Christina (Mullins), sons and daughters-in-law, his brother Keith, brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives and friends. Predeceased by his brothers Peter and Charles. Eternal rest grant unto him oh Lord. Let perpetual light shine upon him and may he rest in peace. Amen. A private family funeral will take place, due to Government advice regarding public gatherings. Those who would have liked to attend the funeral, but due to current restrictions cannot, please leave your personal message for Norman’s family in the Irish Times online condolence section.Family flowers only. Donations in lieu, if desired to the Fr. Peter McVerry Trust, Merchants Quay
