O'BYRNE, George T, MD (Cardiologist), Santa Monica, USA and formerly The Crescent, Galway City - April 22nd 2019 after a courageous battle against illness, in the care of his sister Liz and brother-in-law Declan and his sisters Sharon and Christine. Reunited with his father and mother, Harry and Elizabeth and his brother Paul (RIP). Deeply regretted by his brothers Harry, Joseph and John, ; his sisters Anne, Liz, Sharon, Christine, Mary and Angela, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and their families, cousins, nephews and nieces. Deeply missed by his great friends here in Ireland and his great friends, colleagues and staff in California. Arriving at St. Joseph's Parish Church, Presentation Road, Galway on Saturday 1st June for Requiem Mass at 12 noon followed by interment of ashes in Rahoon cemetery and Gathering afterwards. Family flowers only. Greatly missed - he healed many - may he rest in peace
