McSWINEY, Joan - Joan - (Mount Merrion, Dublin) February 26, 2023 (peacefully) after an illness borne with great courage and dignity. She will be missed immensely and remembered with much love by her sister Ger, brother-in- law Padraig, sister-in- law Ruth, Nieces and Nephews, Chris, Joan, Laura, Kate, Carol and Francis, uncle and aunt, her great nieces and nephews, cousins, Godchildren, neighbours and her circle of many friends. Joan was recently predeceased by her brother Paddy. Funeral Mass will take place on Thursday, March 2, at 10.00am in the Church of St. Thérèse, Mount Merrion followed by cremation at Mount Jerome, Harold’s Cross. Those of you who are unable to attend the Mass may view it on this link www.mountmerrionparish.ie/webcam/. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu to Our Lady’s Hospice . www.olh.ie Joan’s family wish to thank St. James’s Hospital and Blackrock Hospice for the exceptional care provided.
