BARRETT, Helen (née Collins), Templerainey, Arklow, Co Wicklow and formerly of Carrigaline, Co Cork. Peacefully at home on January 6. Cherished wife of Don and loving mother of Vivienne, Ronan, Gillian and the late Colin. Deeply regretted by her husband, children, their partners Mary, Gerry, Lisa and Conor, grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and dear friends. Helen’s funeral will be celebrated in accordance with current government guidelines. Reposing at Sweeney’s Funeral Home, Arklow from 5pm to 7pm on January 17 (Monday). Removal on January 18 (Tuesday) at 10.30 to St. Joseph’s Church, Templerainey arriving for Requiem Mass at 11 o’clock, walking from Templerainey Park. Those who cannot attend are welcome to join via the church webcam https://churchmedia.ie/st-josephs-church-templerainey-arklow/. Cremation service to follow at 1.45pm in The Victorian Chapel at Mount Jerome Crematorium and this too will be available via live-stream on https://vimeo.com/event/153499. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu, if desired, to The Irish Cancer Society www.cancer.ie. A memorial Mass will be celebrated for Helen in the Church of Our Lady and St. John, Carrigaline on January 22 (Saturday) at 11.30am after which she will be laid to rest in St Mary’s Cemetery. Messages of sympathy and support can be expressed online. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam dílis.
