COONEY, Daniel (Don) (Kimmage, Dublin 6W and late of Cork) - On 12th May 2019 (peacefully), after a long illness at St James’s Hospital. Beloved husband of Moirin and much loved dad of Angela, Frances, Irene and Daniel. He will be sadly missed by his family, sisters Rena and Marie, sons-in-law Mark, Colm and Dave, daughter-in-law Ciara, his treasured grandchildren Aoife, Elaine, Sophie, Philip, Aaron, Brian, Seán, Sarah, Jack and Niamh, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and former colleagues in the ESB. Rest in peace. Reposing at his home today (Wednesday) evening between 5.00 pm and 7.00 pm. Removal tomorrow (Thursday) morning to the Church of St. Paul of the Cross, Mount Argus arriving at 9.50 am for Requiem Mass at 10.00 am, followed by cremation at the Victorian Chapel, Mount Jerome, Harold’s Cross. Family flowers only. Donations if desired to the Irish Cancer Society.

Would like to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with us at the time of Don's death. Thanks to those who visited and attended Don's removal and funeral and all who travelled to be with us at that sad time. A special thank you to the Doctors, nurses and staff at St. James's Hospital.
