COSTELLOE - Eleanor (Goatstown, Dublin 14) Second Anniversary, January 12, 2021. Lovingly remembered and deeply missed by your family and friends.

COSTELLOE - Eleanor (Goatstown, Dublin). It is almost a year since Eleanor departed this life (January 12, 2021) and left behind a broken-hearted family. As we remember the loss of a much loved sister, aunt and friend, we would like to thank most sincerely everyone who sympathised with us during her short illness. We extend our heartfelt thanks to her many kind friends, neighbours and extended family for their support during such a sad and difficult time. Sincere thanks for all the telephone calls, mass cards, letters, condolences, prayers, flowers and special tributes. We have taken great solace from your messages and shared memories. We greatly appreciate those who could not attend Eleanor’s mass but watched online, and to all who gathered outside the church and lined the way as her cortege passed. Particular thanks to Fr. Colm McAuley for a special funeral mass and to all the dedicated staff in St Vincent’s hospital and I.C.U. for the exceptional care Eleanor received during her short stay and for their care and compassion toward her family. Eleanor enriched the lives of many and her spirit and kindness will always be remembered. May she Rest In Peace.

It was with great sadness that I heard of Eleanor's death. Many happy memories of our cricket playing days in CY in Terenure. May she rest in peace Margaret McGoldrick.
