MAGUIRE David (died October 18th 2010) - We, David's wife Dolores and children, would like to express our sincere gratitude for the amazing and on-going help and support shown to us since David's death, by our extended family, friends and fantastic neighbours. Our thanks to the priests of Kilmacud parish and to Fr James Tormey who made the funeral so special. Thanks also to all of the medical staff who cared for David - especially to Margaret in the day ward in St Michael's Dun Laoghaire, Paula and the nurses in St Vincent's private hospital and the staff in ICU. We were so grateful to all the people who called to the house, telephoned, sent cards and attended the funeral. We are still so sad that Dad is gone and miss him terribly but we know he is up in heaven reading the Irish Times and looking for walnut trees and 'spare wood', maybe with Tess in tow.
