SHARPE, John James MRCVS (Carrickmines, Dublin) - May 7th 2021. Loving husband of the late Valerie. Peacefully, at home with his beloved Hilary, by whom he will be deeply missed. Dearly loved father of Sandra and David. He will be sadly missed by his son-in-law Simon and daughter-in-law Natasha. Proud and loving Grandad to Stephen, James, Molly, Jay, Taylor and Annabel. He will be fondly remembered by Cheryl and Brian, Darren and Nicky, Glenn and Sarah and Hilary’s grandchildren. The family would like to thank the staff of the Haematology/Oncology unit of St. James Hospital under Dr Patrick Hayden for their compassionate care and attention to John. To all the blood donors who so generously gave John extra quality of life. John will be sadly missed by his many friends. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired to the DSPCA where John volunteered for many years. i only heard of his passing today. i am so sad. he was my friend and he did so much for the animals of Ballymun. may the good Lord hold him tight. he was a wonderful surgeon. we had many good times together in the clinic.

I was so very saddened to hear that John had passed away. May he rest in peace. He was such a positive and encouraging vet, who did amazing work to promote the veterinary profession. His family are in my thoughts and prayers. Lydia Langley.
